Battle Rap: Introduction To The Culture/Hollow Bodied Clips No Doubt

If you say you are a hiphop head, or a true fan of hiphop and you do not watch battle rap at least every once in a while, I believe your status as a hiphop head should be questioned. I mean, battle rap has to be one of the most intense forms of entertainment out there. In this relatively unknown corner of the landscape known as hiphop, rappers go head-to-head on stage, vying for the unofficial distinction of being the king of battle-rap.
There are a good number of highly-talented battle rappers topping the game out there, especially in the United States of America - maybe I just have a bias for American battle rappers - and Charlie Clips and Hollow Da Don are often mentioned as belonging to this class of elite battle rappers, although I cannot be accused of being a super fan of  either of them.
People are still debating the epic match-up between Charlie Clips and Hollow Da Don that occurred last year and it must be said that these people are mostly Charlie Clips fans who have refused to admit that their champion took an ass-whooping from the don. Man-Up, woman-up people. Charlie clearly lost 2-1 or 3-0. He got bodied by the don. Thinking otherwise would be tantamount to the denying of a fact and not the possessing of a contrary opinion. Believeing otherwise would be akin to bigotry. Hollow had it all: punchlines, metaphors,bars, etc.
