For years the world lied to themselves, in fact governments around the world were absolutely deluded concerning the situation in Sudan, especially the region of Darfur. For some reason, they refused to believe the truth that was before their eyes, that a genocide of colossal proportions was happening in Sudan, perpetrated by the Arab Sudanese government against Sudanese Africans. It took an ex US Marine to bring the atrocities committed by the murderous Sudanese regime - which is still in power today - to the attention of the United States Government, the American public and the world at large.
