I DON'T BLAME HIM! BALE MAD AT BEING LEFT ON THE BENCH

No top player ever wants to be found warming the bench instead of being on the pitch partaking in a big game. That was the exact fate Gareth Bale suffered midweek when he was left on the bench at Juventus.
According to Zinedine Zidane, Bale, whose first season at the Bernabeu saw him clinch the Champions League trophy, was very unhappy with his fate on the day. "I understand that he is not in a good mood, that's normal," Zidane said understandingly at a news conference ahead of Real Madrid's La Liga derby match against Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
"Players want to play in every game. We know what a good player he is and what he has done. I have to take decisions but if he doesn't play two games it doesn't mean anything. I still think he's an important player."
Bale, Real Madrid's second-top scorer this season, right behind golden boy Cristiano Ronaldo, made his annoyance at being left on the bench apparent when Ronaldo pulled out an excellent bicycle kick out of his bag of tricks to score a goal. No such thing, no such magic had happened, at least to Bale. He barely reacted. While his teammates ecstatically celebrated Ronaldo's goal, Bale looked absolutely uninterested.
Who knows, there might be more than an iota of truth in the rumour that Bale is getting ready for a return to England. Time will tell.
