Bill Hybels denied multiple allegations of sexual misconduct
Some of President Donald Trump's allies among the evangelical leadership are facing troubles similar to those he is embroiled in at the moment. Troubles of a sexual nature.

One of such people is Frank Page, president and chief executive of the Southern Baptist Convention's executive committee.  He recently announced his resignation as a result of what he termed an "inappropriate relationship."

Although he did not give details on this "inappropriate relationship," he stated that it was a "personal failing" that had "embarrassed my family, my Lord, myself, and the Kingdom."

Last week, Bill Hybels, one of the co-founders of Willow Creek, one of the nation's largest churches, came under fire after a number of allegations of inappropriate behaviour including suggestive comments, an unwanted and unsolicited kiss, and a consensual affair with a married woman were published in the Tribune.

Although Willow Creek's own investigators and an external attorney found no evidence of misconduct by Hybels, other leading evangelical figures such as John and Nancy Ortberg suggested that the internal review of the allegations by the church was inadequate.

Other figures in the evangelical movement have been caught up in this quagmire of allegations of sexual impropriety, and visit STUFF to read more on this matter. You won't believe your eyes!
